Where tomorrow’s possibilities converge with today’s innovations.
FUTURE FORWARD
WELCOME TO THE THRESHOLD
You stand at the edge of something unfamiliar… a convergence of the human and the artificial, the cosmic and the computational.
Future Forward is not simply an event; it’s a passage through time, technology, and thought. Tonight, we invite you to question, experience, and reimagine the very nature of creation itself.
As you descend into the space, guided by AI narration and cascading projections, you leave behind linear time. Through pulsing light, resonant sound, and interactive environments, you enter a realm where human expression and machine capability evolve in unison. This is your invitation to step through the threshold.
THE JOURNEY AHEAD
Future Forward unfolds as a seamless narrative; an emotional and sensory progression from human origin to post-human potential.
From the shimmering descent down the staircase to the final projection that sends you back into the world, you’ll encounter:
- AI narration loops that build in intelligence and tone as the night evolves
- A central cosmic installation that watches, responds, and grows with the energy in the room
- Performances that challenge authorship and agency, questioning the boundaries between algorithm and artist
- Design elements that fuse light, sound, and space into a living neural ecosystem
This is not a show to be watched. It’s an experience to be absorbed. Your journey begins now.
ARTISTS
AMIANGELIKA & 1100 — BLCK SUN
A meditative dive into the space between chaos and order.
Award-winning new media artist AMIANGELIKA and composer 1100 present a performance where analog synths, generative visuals, and spatial sound coalesce into an immersive ritual. BLCK SUN explores the artist’s personal relationship with disintegration and emergence, chaos and calm, entropy and rebirth. Originally premiered at Digital Art Week at Outernet and CURRENTS New Media in Santa Fe.
MAOTIK — FLOW
Real-time weather data becomes living oceanic light.
French digital artist MAOTIK brings his acclaimed generative installation FLOW to London for a one-night transformation. Using environmental data, lunar cycles, and audience movement, the piece generates shifting waveforms and soundscapes. Originally developed for Ars Electronica’s Deep Space 8K gallery, FLOW is an ongoing meditation on pattern, prediction, and perception.
Reeps One — Human vs AI: Beatbox Duel
A visceral sound battle between man and machine.
Renowned beatboxer and voice technologist Harry Yeff (Reeps One) goes head-to-head with an AI trained on his own voice. What begins as a solo evolves into a full-spectrum sonic duel—unpredictable, improvisational, and impossibly human. Developed in collaboration with Bell Labs and Harvard University, this performance invites you to hear the future of voice itself.
Ksawery Komputery — FLUX (Installation)
A massive responsive structure of code, light, and sound.
Suspended above the crowd, FLUX is the central nervous system of Future Forward. This towering installation by Polish artist Ksawery Komputery uses 144,000 LEDs, motion sensors, and spatial sound to interpret crowd behavior into evolving neural patterns. As guests move through the evening, the structure shifts and reacts, creating an ongoing data dialogue between the installation and its environment.
CARRY THE
FUTURE FORWARD
As the evening draws to a close, we leave you not with answers, but with questions:
Will we use AI to expand our creative potential—or outsource it?
Will the tools we build reflect our humanity—or distort it?
And how will you participate in the next chapter of human expression?
You’ve stepped into the unknown. Now, step forward carrying what you’ve seen, heard, and felt.
The boundary between earth and cosmos, human and machine, no longer exists.
You carry the Future Forward.
